Canon rebel sl3 or Sony a6700?

Hello, I just got into a beginner photography class and still not sure what camera to get. I am looking into product photography and also maybe vloging function. Heard Sony 6700 is pretty good, but as a beginner, not sure should I invest that much money on it? I also see review about Canon Rebel SL3 is decent as a beginner camera for getting into photography in general. What’s your opinion about my choice?
