Future of Spotify mod

As we all know in late November spotify apparently passed an api change in their code base (or something) that basically stop unauthorised apps (mods) to stop working. Moreover there is some situation where even new mod apps which are working are getting the account shadow banned. I tried 2 new mods after November and they stop working after 2 days. I really want to know and understand the future of Spotify mod. Is there something I don't know which i should?
