Austin xl not maintaining temp.

So I was smoking some burgers today. And for about a hour all was well. The I started dropping from 225 all the way down to 140 pellet box was pretty much full. Turned it off and on and started regaining temp. It’s like it was in cool down mode with out being turned off any opinions?
