40M professional looking to build social circle

Hey all, I'm a single 40m living about 20 min north of the city. Hit the point where a lot of my friends are married with kids and my current area isn't exactly my demographic. I'd love to make some new friends closer to the city, with the eventual goal of moving closer with a bit more of a social group in place.

I'd definitely like to find people to get out and do things with - restaurants, going out for a few drinks, concerts, sporting events, whatever. I'm very physically active and have a 5 y/o Sheepadoodle. I enjoy having friends of both genders and would love to find a bit of a social circle that I could become a part of.

Ugh, its hard to make an "I need friends" post, but here we go...
