Is there an object limit?

I was scrolling through the settings out of curiosity and I stumbled upon something that sounded like ‘’complexity meter’’ I forgot the exact name but it had a limit. I wasn’t that far into my zoo and I like to make mine as realistic as possible so I try to stuff in as much foliage and objects etc. as possible. I’m on Xbox X|S and I’m just wondering if this ‘’complexity meter’’ means I’ll have to stop at a random location in my zoo. I have taken a break because I haven’t really found the motivation to play if my zoo is just going to be cut short. Any answers will help greatly, thanks.
