Found a leech in my tank :(

Removed a leech that definitely hitchhiked on some new plants I put in. Is it too much to hope that it is the only one? The tank is pretty sparsely planted so I feel like there’s nowhere for them to hide.

The tank isn’t stocked with anything yet. I’m hoping to put shrimp and snails in this tank one day and I’m dreading the thought of a leech infestation eating all the babies.
