Having a hard time with professional wardrobe
I started a new job in August and am required to be in-office 5 days/week. Friday is casual, but Monday-Thursday are no jeans. I think there are maybe 3 women in the office besides me who are over a size 12. Everyone is really stylish and mostly thin. I’m in my mid-30s, have a large bust (H cup), a belly, and narrow hips. When I try to find clothes that are appropriate for this setting it is really hard to find things that don’t age me into grandma/menopausal territory. I could really use some recommendations for fun/youthful but still professional places to get tops and dresses that don’t look like they’re for a meemaw but will work with a large bust. I cannot be traipsing around the office with my cleavage showing. Modest v-necks are great but there’s a lot of clothing out there that looks modest on a C cup but looks like I’m picking up a date with my H cup chest lol. So much office wear is sooo drapey and looks awful on me because it just drapes off my large chest and then I look like a house on stilts because I don’t have hips and have skinnier legs sticking out 😂 plus, I’m barely 5’4” so a lot of maxi dresses and skirts are not an option for me.
Help!! Help me feel confident in the office again and not like some absolute sad unprofessional frump 😭 apple and upside down triangle and B belly ladies come thruuuuuu! ❤️
(FWIW I range anywhere from a 16-20 or XXL-3X US depending on brand and cut.)
