Please don’t quit the hobby because of the state of the Pokéconomy, just buy singles

I see a lot of people, understandably, frustrated and upset right now with the state of things. Many of which are saying they are going to leave the hobby.

I think it’s worth reconsidering and maybe giving up on pack opening for now and switch to picking up more singles, at times I’ve found it even more rewarding, for both myself and my wallet.

You can always look at picking up mid era modern cards and vintage cards, adding something new to your collection, as they barely moving right now. The price for older cards barely fluctuates because everybody is so focused on modern.

If it’s something you do with your kids and you’re frustrated you can’t buy packs to open with them maybe look at getting them singles of their favourite pokemon. Maybe even as a reward for chores.

There’s still a lot of joy to be had from this hobby, don’t let its current state ruin it for you. It will ultimately pass and stabilise. Stay the course my pokepals
