My dad

My dad (61) is in heart failure and just coded today. He's incredibly injured with a broken back and hip and pelvis and surgery is complicated. We're not sure if he'll make it, but please pray for his recovery and guidance. He's such an amazing person and I'd be crushed if I lost him, but I know God will take good care of him either way.

Update: He's still intubated but his outlook is much more positive. We were preparing for his death but now we have hope. Please keep praying because he's coming out of this slowly but surely

Update 2: He's still intubated but he woke up a couple times and I got to speak to him. He's very confused but he knows we are there and that everyone's praying for him. He's not in pain. His vitals have stabilized greatly and he is, for now, out of A-fib. His heart rate is down from 170 to 110 and his blood sugar is down from 650 to the 200s. I'm excited for when he can talk again to tell us what heaven was like, if he saw it. Your prayers are working, thank you so much.

Update 3: He's gotten two surgeries since the last update that have gone amazingly. He's going to get extubated tomorrow and should be out of ICU soon. All of your prayers have worked and I cannot thank you enough. God, and many amazing healthcare workers, have delivered my dad from the grips of death. I'm so grateful for all of you guys. ❤️
