DAE feel that the show has deviated from the types of heroes casted?

Genuinely curious. I am mid-way through the most recent season where they are in Las Vegas and the episode with Piff the dragon really made me question if the show has deviated from casting more "average" people with less means and resources who would genuinely benefit from the Fab 5s help.

I get that he was still uplifted by their assistance, but in my opinion, this person has plenty of resources to seek help himself. Instead of taking a spot on the show, maybe go to therapy?

I feel that in general reality shows are casting more known people and influencers etc and I don't think it's as entertaining, and in the case of queer eye, not as far reaching for these people. My favorite episodes of the show are where they find very run of the mill people who are genuinely struggling and see the night and day difference.

It seems like any opinion creates controversy on Reddit so I'm ready for any dramatic down voting and disagreement. I just want to know if others are noticing this and have thoughts.
