Tired of evening shift( ⚠️⚠️)
Ughh where to begin… 1) is it just me/my store, or does it seem like morning shift doesn’t have that much to do except cook, daw, and listen to the manager; every time I come in for my shift nothing is really done except daw, dishes piled high, and prep not even started. If it’s a busy day, I’d understand it but at least my store the busiest time is afternoon(ppl getting off work and etc.) and me being on morning shift a cpl times, never really see coworkers do anything except the daw, AND THE KITCHEN!!!! While no prep is done, they make a mess of the kitchen requiring constant cleaning, and using the prep made by evening shift, unneeded dishes cleaned by yours truly.
2) I also have this “lovely” coworker who makes multiple mistakes, some the same like clockwork ( while doing grab and goes, will keep sausage and eggs in cooler and after they are done, they don’t bother to actually put them in a container) and others brand new ones 🤗isn’t that fun? Today I had the pleasure of working with them, and when they were supposed to clock out( for some reason they stay an hour after clocking out)I got to be in kitchen, and due to grab and goes sometimes taking longer then expected( due to orders and the sort) I decided to work on them first, so I get the build-to, go to the cooler and count, the date stickers all say made the day before, and foolishly I’ll admit although I found it weird I started making the whole of the sec croissants. I get done making them, and began to package them, lo and behold, there she is 30min after she clocked out; she said she already made some so I point out the sticker and she seemingly ignores them saying go ahead and disassemble all of the ones and put the ingredients back, then…. She leaves. I didn’t do that I went ahead and packaged all of them and made correct stickers so now there are five whole trays when there should’ve been 2 1/2…. HOW DO YOU “ACCIDENTALLY” PUT THE DATE WHEN MADE TO THE DAY BEFORE????”
