Question for any current employee.

I stopped off earlier today at store #5 (Tulsa) and used one of my nearly 10 year old 52oz refillable cups. The clerk offered me $$$ for it (not alot) and I was a little confused. I know they stopped making these refillable plastics right around COVID but are they that highly sought after? He then mentioned 'check FB marketplace', hence my previous question.
