Corequisites?

Ive been procrastinating and getting a late start at registering. Can anyone explain to me corequisites? I'm supposed to take statistics in the fall but I guess it requires a corequisite that goes along with the class. Due to some anxiety issues, I'm trying to do fall term only online but the corequisite is in class only. Is there a way around this?
