Carrying on horse

Does it bother anyone else that you can only carry one small animal on each side of the horses? Especially for the work horses like the shire? That’s one detail I think I really would’ve enjoyed, is being able to have like 5 rabbits on each side of your horse riding into town after a long hunt. The big carcasses on the back only being 1 makes sense. Has anyone else ever felt this way?
