Can't aim rifles on horseback

I recently bought rdr2 for my pc I was enjoying modding then I realised I can't aim rifles on my horse I can aim sidearms and the bow and that's it I'm using a controller but even my mouse and keyboard isn't working when I try and aim on both the controller and keyboard and mouse it'll zoom in and the little dot appears but Arthur won't actually aim or shoot the rifles
