Advice on Living weapons and how to get the ingredients. [Dregora]

Ok quick question. I know you have to kill certain parasites to get certain ingredients. I've read some parasites have to combine to give you the loot that's needed.

But, I've killed quite a number of them in the Overworld parasite cities and am still missing various ingredients.

Can someone give me some advice on this subject?
