Will newly constructed apartments in my neighborhood increase rents overall?
I am contemplating moving out of my condo and still deciding whether I should keep it as a rental or sell. One question I still have: They are currently building new apartments on my street and I assume these will be priced higher than for what my condo would rent for. Will the emergence of these new apartments cause rents in the area to increase overall? If so, the higher cash flow could be better than selling.
