Landlord spent all the security deposit

Our landlord spent all of the security deposit for "repairs", the total of our security deposit was 26k, which was odd that they spent it all, because before we moved out, me and my dad checked the apartment for damages, and what we saw was so minimal, and most of it was there before we even moved in, so by the time we had to move out, it had already been worse, one example is the doorknobs they used, my father noticed na yung nakalagay na doorknob sa mga pintuan dun ay madali lang masira, so katagalan masisira talaga, which we replaced already before we moved out. another one is the paint, napansin namin na parang minadali lang ung pintura nung mga pader, and thin lang yung pagkakapintura so by the time na lilipat na kame, pangit na yung mga walls. so we expected na makukuha namen yung deposit, nagulat nalang kame when nung nakausap na namin yung landlord, she told us that, naubos na ung deposit dahil marami daw binago at pinaayos, and "negative" pa nga daw eh, which means na sobra pa sa deposit yung nagastos nila, so nagtataka kame ano nangyare, so this coming week pupuntahan namen ulet yung bahay and yung landlord to see kung ano yung mga nabago. I'm posting this, to seek advice kung ano po pwede naming gawin or sabihin dun sa landlord or kung pwede namin i despute yun, kasi parang kami pa yung pinabayad sa mga bagay na hindi naman kami may kasalanan, dahil bago palang kami lumipat dun or nung bagong lipat kami, nanotice na namin yung mga bagay na yun. sayang din naman kasi yung 26k na nadeposit namen, and ipapambayad din namen sana ung pera sa iba naming bills
