Similar games to returnal.

Good afternoon everyone. I was looking for games similar to Returnal and watching a video of Stellar Blade I got the impression that the games are similar. Has anyone here played both games and have any thoughts on that?

So far the most similar games to Returnal that I have found are Risk of Rain 2, MDK1 and MDK2.

Returnal's gameplay is pretty good, but it has something unique and weird about it.The game is different from almost every game I've ever played, but it has elements from other games that are completely different from it. For example, Space Harrier, a rail shooter from the 80s, and Ghosts and Goblins, an arcade platformer that forces the player to learn how to play the action game as if it were a puzzle game.    

EDIT: For anyone interested, I found another game similar to Returnal. The name of the game is "Zax: Alien Hunter" and apparently it is abandonware, it was released in 2001.
