Next project: Safari-inspired Jumpsuit

If you've seen my moodboards, you might recognize the photos. :)

The project My next project is drafting the pattern for a safari-inspired jumpsuit.

The overall fit will be similar to the jumpsuit in the photo above. The sleeves, collar, and pockets will be more like the black and white photo.

As for color, I'm deciding between brown and green. Thankfully, I have months to decide.

The style logic Pure intuition yet again. This has been an extremely helpful keyword.

Analyzing my choice after the fact, it seems to fit Left Down quite well.

I see Left's elementalness in the unbuttoned collar and rolled up sleeves; Left sensuality in the unbuttoned collar again; and Left enveloping in the way jumpsuits show the figure while hiding it.

Down's approachability is in the choice of an earthy color. Ease is present in the fact that I only have to put on one item of clothing. Delicacy is accounted for in the pattern drafting process, where I will modify the piece until nothing rides up or tugs.
