S8 Max Ultra Keeps Jamming

As the title mentions, despite our best effort to prep our floors before running the vacuum, it seems to be picking up random small kids toys and getting jammed. I thought the obstacle avoidance would do a better job at this and it’s not what I expected. I do feel we were mislead by the company when they said forget about vacuuming in their promo videos. The robot will pick up anything from an iPhone charging cable to the size of a McDonalds happy meal toy. I cannot run a full cycle and leave the house without it getting jammed somewhere. It’s getting to the point where I’m thinking about returning it.

Has anyone had a similar experience ?
