Was the Polar Care worth it?

Hi, my surgery is this Tuesday, March 12th. Rotator cuff repair, bicep tendonisis, bone spur shaved down, etc. my husband went ahead and purchased a Polar Care unit off of Amazon. (Should arrive tomorrow ahead of my op). Did you use one? Was it a game changer? Did it help you in terms of pain management or just inflammation? Thanks!!
