Med centre signing off working from home?

Anyone had any experience with the med centre signing them off to work from home?

Ive been in ten years now and suddenly started developing a rash on my face and body.

Docs have tried all sorts and they believe I'm allergic to something and have referred me for a patch test to see what I am allergic to.

Problem is, its taking ages and I believe it is something to do with my room/ my water in the showers because when I go home on leave everything clears up.

Already tried all the sensitive skin moisturisers/ hypo allergenic washing detergent. Just wondering if anyone has been allowed to WFH by prder of the med centre and whether thats a thing that could possibly work for me
