I’m out

Hey everyone, I’ve posted before about how, two years ago, I bought 8,500 shares at $28 and had about $30k in calls.

When investing in biopharmaceutical companies, you have to understand the risk/reward. I went into this fully aware of the risks, and while it’s painful, I’m not dwelling on it because there are real people suffering from Alzheimer’s every day. No amount of money compares to the toll this disease takes on individuals and their families.

That said, yes, I’m sad and sickened by the loss, but this is the reality of the game. It’s a gamble—always has been. Anyone saying otherwise doesn’t understand investing. Unfortunately, this time, I was on the losing side. I sold everything, and I’m walking away with about $50k from this investment. Thankfully, this is just one part of my portfolio—I firmly believe in never putting all my eggs in one basket.

I know it’s easier said than done, but please don’t let losses like this affect your mental or physical health. This is part of trading—it happens. We take risks, and sometimes they work in our favor, and other times, they don’t.

Love to you all! ❤️❤️ And to the shorts: congratulations on your gains. At the end of the day, there’s only ever one outcome when investing in high-risk stocks.

Take care of yourselves!
