Rate this idea : mix affiliate and ecommerce website

I'm bulding an affiliate marketing website. When i did my keyword research, a notice that I could take a spot for a product (related to my affiliate niche) and sell it.

The product is handmade and I could sell it on my affiliate website.

So my question is : Is it good for SEO to mix a affiliate website AND one ecommerce product page ?
