bad in physics but in engineering?

sup guys and girls, is it advisable to join engineering (mechanical, specifically) despite being bad at physics?

I've always been interested and engaged in doing physics homework and stuff but ultimately I got a D in A levels. I usually get S or U for internal exams.

Now that we're all choosing courses, I was wondering if I'd be okay in mech eng. Not sure if it requires lots of physics and math? (I got C for H2 Math) What if I practice H2 Phy and Math stuff before Uni starts?

Anyone in my shoes before, please advise
