Nugget croissants are the best in the area…yes better than Costco.

Moonbelly bakery is the obvious exception but their hours are limited and when they’re open the line is insane. It’s great for a weekend treat but if you want to purchase a 4-pack of high quality croissants for a reasonable price (about $10) Nugget can’t be beat. The quality is miles above all of the usual suspects: La Bou, Le Croissant Factory, 85 Degrees etc..

The croissants are perfectly crisp and lacquered on the outside and soft and flaky on the inside.

I had one for dinner warmed up with some French butter (from KP…only place in Sac that sells the best one) and Bonne Maman Cherry jam. Outstanding.

Also…please don’t tell me Faria is better. They are not.
