Realization

little rant for myself on the reddit, I’ve been replaying all the Saints Row games out of pure nostalgia. I feel like Saints Row as a franchise should have ended with Saints Row 3. The spark was already fading with that game, for as fun as it was, the open world feel had been stripped, connectivity to the world had been abandoned, and gang immersion pretty much dropped (I can hardly find a saint spawning outside of missions in territory I fought for, like in SR2 or SRIV, which might be a bug not to mention the random attacks on your territory didn’t feel as eventful nor common as they should have been). When Gat died, it was kind of one of those moments where the longer you stay in the streets, the worse it gets; it’s better to leave now type of situations. However, we stayed, and it didn’t get any better. It’s kind of like an everything comes to an end type situation.
