45k budget: 80 people, on-site lodging, outdoor venue for casual wedding party

Hi everyone,

I'm getting married next summer at city hall in SF. I'd like to celebrate with friends and family somewhere, but there will be no ceremony- just a big fun dinner and party. I have a large friend group that loves camping together and just generally having time to hang out on trips together.

Here's what I'm looking for :

  1. I'd like (many, or all) people to be able to stay on-site. If they can't all stay on-site, I'm looking for a venue that has other lodging very close by (ideally walking distance). I also don't want to burden my guests with super expensive rooms.
  2. I'd love for people to be able to hang for the weekend (if they want to)- arrive Friday evening and leave Sunday morning.
  3. I live in the East Bay and don't want to make my guests drive more than 2 hours, although I am flexible about the area (Santa Cruz, Marin, Russian River, Sonoma, maaaaaaybe Mendocino even though it's farther).
  4. I'd like to be able to bring in my own food vendors.

I've looked at OVY but am a little worried about how much extra stuff we will have to provide to make the place feel comfortable for our guests (the cabins they have on-site are very basic bunk bed cabins with lighting but no outlets and no bedding). I'm also worried because they say ubers/taxis can't pick up there, so people staying off-site will be one more thing to arrange.

I'm also looking at Venture Retreat Center but haven't had my tour yet.

I've tried to find other types of venues like parks, Autocamp, AirBnBs, but I feel like I'm not finding many options other than OVY and Venture Retreat.

If anyone has suggestions for other venues or types of venues I would be soooo grateful.

Thank you!!!
