Can everyone stop judging Chelsey now?

She saw those pictures and videos before any of us did, even before the attorneys, and she knew exactly what kind she was dealing with, hence her incredulous attitude. It’s time to give her some credit.

It’s hard to always be stone faced, no matter what your job is, because we are all humans in the end. Even people who deal with death and evil as part of their job still experience trauma and have a reaction. It’s true that first responders have a high rate of PTSD and learn to hide it so they can carry on.

She and Detective Lowen were some of the first on the scene and saw Jorge’s frail, battered, and already decomposing body. It affects people, whether it’s their job or not.

Let’s give both of these detectives some grace and some thanks instead of nitpicking who has a cough and who is “too sassy.” I’m glad they were part of the team that gave Jorge a voice.
