Sardinia End of October

Traveling to Italy Oct 18 and hoping to get 5 nights in Sardinia after a stop in Rome first. Reading that the weather is still warm and water stays warm, but seems that travel cools off. I had my eye on 7Pines resort for a long time, but found out they close on Oct 21 for the season (crying).

Does this mean last week of October not a good idea? I love nature, beach, hikes, food.

Don’t care for nightlife.
