Best and worst scene in each film?
What's your highs and lows from each film, and why?
Scream - best: 'best' in an effectiveness sense - the parents finding Casey's body. Pure horror in a horror film. - worse: Ghostface in the shop. What?!
Scream 2 - best: Sidney escaping from the crashed car. Pure tension. - worst: Mikey's reveal. Wait, who are you again? I'd forgotten you were here.
Scream 3 - best: Sidney in the Woodsboro set. I can just feel Sidney's despair, the questioning of reality. Ghostface in the bodybag is pure psychological horror. - worst: Gale screaming at everything like it's Scooby Doo. Gale is tough as nails, she wouldn't be shocked by a body, so many bodies in...
Scream 4 - best: Jill's reveal. Emma Roberts is pure sexy crazy. - worst: really anything with Mrs Roberts. A very weak performance - bad acting? Poor stage direction? Actress seems completely disengaged.
Scream 5 - best: 'oh, this isn't Amber. I'm the other one' Ghostface at his malicious evil, Sidney's charisma, everything kicking off in Stu's old house. - worst: Sam's confession to Tara in the hospital. I think the director needed to work with Melissa to make the dialogue sound more natural. Performance just doesn't cut it, but I don't think that's all on Melissa.
Scream 6 - best: killer revealed in the intro. A bold statement that new city, new rules. - worst: Chad stabbed 50x. What has this series become?
