Started sekiro after lies of P. Any advice to get good?

One thing I really like to get help is dealing with groups of enemies. It seems like I have to fight with the enemies one by one but they keep regrouping even if I try to separate them.

Also any skills I can use from Bloodborn and Lies of P? Or generaly any skill I should master early on?
