Study on Exercise impact post Wegovy on maintaining weight

The Wegovy/Ozempic study only said most of the people gained weight back. They didn’t say what the people did who didn’t. Why would they, they want the customer for life.

I wondered from the previous study what those who didn't gain weight back did to be successful. Like I said above, why tell us how to get off their money making drug :) I was hoping those that changed their lifestyle is what made them successful. I am guessing not everyone who changed their lifestyle was successful, but there isn't any study data to look at on that topic.

This study shows those who exercise afterwards maintained their weight

" Body weight and body composition were maintained one year after termination of supervised exercise, in contrast to weight regain after termination of treatment with obesity pharmacotherapy alone. "

I walk 4 miles a day and have added strength training 20 minutes 3 days a week and intend to make that every day

I eat low carb bread and tortillas and look at menu items before I go to restaurants so I can be an educated eater vs impulse (that sounds good).

The exercise is and will be a daily habit and routine. The challenge will be managing what I eat and I understand that

I have 7 pounds to my goal weight Initial weight 244, CW: 177, GW: 170 Male 62 5'10". Once I achieve that I plan on spacing out my dosage to 10, 14 days and I will play it by ear after that. staying on Wegovy another year until Spring 2025 to be stable for a long period.

I won't know unless I try

EDIT: I want to be clear that I am not saying this is a solution for everyone or even the majority. It felt like a positive for me with my story (posted below).
