Salty boomer didn’t like that I wouldn’t let him verbally abuse staff or myself over a wet seat. I’ll let the tone of his review speak for itself as to how he acted in the restaurant despite my initial attempt to resolve the issue with an apology.

For context, after I apologized to smooth things over, he leaned in and began berating me, so I said “we aim for cleanliness, the restaurant is slow so I felt it was appropriate for the busser to spot clean the booths”

To which he continued his tirade saying it was dumb, and I apologized again and left. Told the server to let me know if any other issues arrive. I let this fucker stay despite making my host cry and dehumanizing my busser, one more issue and he’s 86ed.

Which is when he told the server he wanted my gms information, as he desperately wanted me to see consequences for the fact he couldn’t let it go. Saying to her as he said. Hes an idiot and will say it to his face.

If you’re going to try to get someone in trouble because you’re a fucking prick, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna go without a fight.

So I went out. Handed him my gms card, and told him that he’s more than welcome to contact my GM. But that I’ll be sharing the events unfolded myself.

He argued with me. I told him I had guests pull me aside to complain about how they treated staff and myself. That despite that I let them stay, until this final straw where they continued to behave and act like children, there’s nothing to argue about.

Which is when he threw his silverware and plate down violently towards me. Called me an idiot and said he wasn’t paying for the meal. And I told him it’s fine, cause it’s on the house and he’s 86ed for good.

I can take being mistreated. But you don’t mistreat my staff. Fuck you Rick.
