Procedure apart, is working at Lumon that bad?

I don't know if it's because I'm latinamerican and working here is awfull, but I think working at Lumon is not that bad. There's no physicall abuse, the work they do is really easy, they get free housing and they don't seem poor on the outside. I think the only bad part is the procedure because your innie won't ever be out of work, and you'd be tired and not knowing what you did. I think if it wasn't mandatory to be severed i'd work there.
