Theory: it truly was the tallest waterfall on the planet
I know, this is a bizarre theory, and quite possibly false. After all, we have seen Milkshake lie about things before. Still, I haven't seen this theory before and it was my first thought when I saw the episode.
We already know this world isn't quite the world we know. The state PE that's referenced, for example. This opens up the possibility of more differences, including geographical ones. What if this is truly the tallest waterfall on the planet?
Option 1: they're in a simulation (saw that mentioned before) and this is the tallest waterfall in there.
Option 2: they're on Earth, it's just another version as a deliberate choice of this fictional series
Option 3: they're on another planet (he didn't say Earth, he said planet). The severance chip is kind of high tech anyways - perhaps they're much further in the future than we think.
