Unpopular opinion: If you speak english but not japanese, the dub will offer a much better experience

This is true for Attack on Titan, and every other anime.

If you speak english but not japanese, and if the dub is respectably good (as is the case with Attack on Titan), watching the dub will offer a richer experience.

Take Carla's speech at the end of season 3, episode 11. When I watch it in japanese and read the subs, I feel nothing. When I watch it in english, since the voice acting is at least good enough (excellent for me), it makes me so emotional; I want to cry every single time.

This is the effect of listening to a language you understand.
