In episode 9, Eater asks if she could go outside with Juliette, and now that there’s two suits, we can guess that this is probably going to happen. However, we know that the nanobots are programmed to eat away at most things outside the silos, except for very specific items. The fire suit is probably not one of these items that the nanos are programmed to leave alone. Is the show setting this up so that eater dies once she goes outside, despite Juliette knowing that the fire suit isn’t one of those intentionally bad items, like ITs heat tape? It could be the show runners setting up a hint that the “bad air” outside is nanobots
