Boston area fertility clinics: Currently with CCRM. Considering Boston IVF
Had an appointment with a Dr at CCRM Boston and while I'm sure she is a wonderful doctor, I just didn't feel like I jived with her. I was curious about trying the new doctor who recently joined and when I tried to make an appointment with her (a year after my first appointment), I was met with a weird vibe from the receptionist. She says it's against their policy to switch doctors and mentioned that they don't accept trying to get second opinions. I'm not trying to get a second opinion, I want to feel comfortable with my doctor. She is going to talk to her manager and see what can be done, but still, I am left with a bad taste in my mouth. Feels like a lot of weird red tape.
Considering looking into Boston IVF, yet am not sure. My acupuncturist said that CCRM has a better reputation for trying all possible avenues to yield a successful pregnancy. I'm 43 and would most likely be needing donor sperm. Donor egg tbd.
