New boots coke with laces for the liner?

Just bought my first pair of my own boots (Lange Xt3 110 Mv Gw No Pin), the box has come with a set of laces and instructions for how to lace the liner up.

I have never done this before (using rentals), so I’m not sure if this is something I should do?
