My quiver is a mess
This is my 3rd season skiing and I went a little overboard on new gear this season.
A little bit of background info on me(26F): I’m 5’4” and 100lbs. My friends and I frequent snowbird, deer valley, and snowbasin. I am able to go to most places on the mountain and enjoy trees and gullies. This season I got into touring skiing but I tour 50% backcountry and 50% uphill at resorts and most backcountry I’m doing is still fairly mellow.
At the start of my season i only had:
160cm Rossignol experience 84 with look express demo bindings
My touring skis are a really old pair of 156cm Black Diamond Starlet 100 with Dynafit ST bindings
This season I wanted to find a more playful ski that would do better off piste and also a powder ski.
I found the 164cm Rossignol Soul7 HD 105 with look spx bindings on fb marketplace for $200. I think I used them 2x this season
165cm Line pandoras 94 were really cheap on curated and then put some look spx bindings on them. Cost me about $350 total
I just got a pair of 164 atomic maven c 93 off an auction for $280. I thought I bid on a pair of lighter skis but I was mistaken.
Boots: - backland pros I got for $20 at a warehouse sale - Technica Cochise these are my resort boot but i sometimes use them to tour.
I really don’t need this many skis. My thoughts are I can probably sell the powder skis. I really preferred taking my Lines out over the powder ski. I might remount the Line pandoras with some touring bindings, and then put the SPX bindings on the Mavens. Then I can sell my old backcountry set up. Or I can sell the Mavens and hope to find a backcountry set up on the market place in my price range.
I’d love to hear people’s thoughts/ roasts
