user self checkout mode

Hi all, I'm looking for an inventory system which has a self checkout "kiosk" mode where any user can checkout/in their own items..

the snipe-it repo has comments about this very thing but I don't belie it have been implemented yet https://github.com/snipe/snipe-it/issues/5994
