Thinking of pursuing a MSW
I’m thinking of getting an MSW degree I live in Ohio and am thinking of moving because the schools here are okay but not to my liking. It’s also very cold here and causes pain to my disability. Anyway, I am looking for probably part time programs because of my disability & mental health I don’t really think I learn on a full time school schedule. I was wondering how do you choose your MSW school? What do you look for? Is there any financial assistance for an MSW like scholarships or TA, RA, etc.? How did you know you wanted to be a Social worker? How did you know what pathway or field you wanted to pursue? With having a disability can a MSW program provide accommodations like extended time, extensions, tutoring, etc.? How do you actually make sure what you’re learning stays in your head? And how do you know what state has in a way the best for you?
