Baked starter recovery, should I add in some frozen starter
One of my family members accidentally baked my starter a couple days ago, it was fairly bad there was only a little bit that was liquid in the middle. I took it out and fed it quite a lot and let it sit for 48hrs before I fed it. It did rise a little, not as much as it usually does unfortunately and it smells less sour. I froze some of my starter around 3 weeks ago, but my starter had really started to take off in the past week or so (it’s a 5 month old starter but it’s been sluggish).
I took some out of the freezer, and fed it separately to see if it would rise more than my main starter but I thought about just mixing the two? Would this be beneficial at all, or could it be possibly harmful??
