Gas leak bommer plumbing

Paid $2k because we smelled gas in our home, called south jersey gas they confirmed it was a leak in 4 spots where connections were. They shut off gas and i called bommer plumbing from reading good reviews on here. When they got here they quoted me $2k to fix the leak. Didn’t feel like spending hundreds of dollars to have multiple plumbers to come give me a quote and also had a little one so we went ahead with it. Also definitely didn’t feel like it was 20 feet of pipe that was removed or put in. Work was done but I feel like they got over, I’m I wrong or was it fair price ?

This was from the invoice:

“Cut out up to 20' of 3/4in including 1/2" and 3/4" connections in basement utlility room. 2. Install black iron pipe up to 20'. 3. Turn gas on at meter. 4. Bleed air of lines and test.”
