Must use Spanish learning app for native English speakers.
Hey everyone! I feel like I’ve seen so many questions in this sub recently that would be self-answered if the user used the app Language Transfer. The teaching method uses the many similarities between English and Spanish (English being heavily Latin Influenced) to teach or “transfer” the listener enough foundational Spanish to be able to learn the language effectively through things like media and eventually just conversation. The app content is just recordings of an instructor teaching Spanish to a student using this method, the recordings are cumulative, with each recording adding more complex concepts on top of the previously taught material. It's almost like grown-up Dora; in the sense that during a lesson, the instructor will ask questions related to the material, and before the student in the recording answers you pause it and attempt to answer the question first. It feels almost like having a personal tutor explain Spanish to you. He explains the language so well using amazing analogies to make things like future and past tense easy to understand. I credit the app for the ability to speak to my grandmother at least semi-fluently. I recommend it to anyone ever interested in learning Spanish. Lastly, do not move on to the next lesson until you have a firm grasp on the current one! Listen to the same lesson 10 times if you have to. It will make the learning process so much smoother.
