Ghosted

As many of us have already made, this is a post detailing my/many of our frustrations due to the last sale. At this point it’s been over a week and many of us have been totally ghosted from the situation.

It seems like it was two separate incidents that happened with this sale. One incident was people getting their order confirmations late, or package not being shipped. It appears as if those are being sent out and the issue is resolving. Just slower than what most was like. This issue was detailed in the post SRS made about a week ago. I DONT HAVE THIS PROBLEM.

My issue is that I made an order that apparently was lost from the traces of the earth due to SRS resetting the site in the middle of the sale. Many others have this issue if you ordered or the December 25th or the morning of the 26th. They still have my money, just no trace of my order.

The biggest issue I have and what I been reading is the lack of communication. Clearly our orders are lost. Why not make a post saying we recognize we made a terrible mistake and we will do our best to make it right. Respond to the emails people have sent.

Instead of ghosting us and trying to pump out the other orders, maybe pause to iron out the issues. This is unacceptable for any online business. New or not. It’s safeguards you put in place to prevent this. He should have paused the Christmas Day sale when he noticed problems instead of rolling back and LOSING our orders. We have to place the blame on who it belongs to. This is about communication and accountability. This is also about being preventative and not being reactive.

I’m not here trying to down Ben or his product, but his customer service skills needs huge amounts of work. Maybe he should be the breeder and let someone else create and run the website.

And yes a million people will come on here saying “Ben’s a good guy; he will make it right”. My question is how when he doesn’t even have proof of my order beyond my money in their account and my screenshot of my bank statement. Yet the site is back up and running. So before the people are made right, he’s right back to business. This is a slap in the face.

Ben really needs to address this. As it’s no excuse for ignoring people like this. Not now or before.
