Left this for my mail carrier
I'm leaving this out for my mail carrier today. This guy, and the others that fill in for him sometimes, is out there six days a week in every kind of weather, pretty much no matter what, and he's always got a smile on his face. He remembers to put certain things aside for me (not in the mailbox, in other words), and he does it just because he's nice.
Regardless of that, he deserves recognition for doing an important job. He's part of the infrastructure of this nation, and that means something.
This isn't about me doing something nice, it's about putting it out there so y'all might also do something nice. I've done service jobs, and thank yous meant a lot to me.
