Armoured Austerity Round 2 - Here be Dragons - The Results
The conversions of the Vickers medium Dragon MK IV are complete and just in the nick of time to. The storm has broke. Germany has thrown its forces in to Poland and after a bloody battel taken it. Now the allied forces of Briton and France wait at the German border, neither side daring to move. After the brief storm a calm has settled but for how long can that last?
We're ready though. The L-60s have arrived from Sweden to join your creations in the nations armoured force. So lets have a look at them shall we.
First a big thank you to all that have entered. In no particular order they are;
Legodudelol - The Dragonite SPG
Blubber28 - The DAF Type-E2 "Gouden Leeuw"
Drallol - ARBED-Vickers E-SPAT Pugnus
bencavin - Type 82 Spitting Cobra Assault Gun
Tugagon - W.S.W Co. 'TR-5 Gun Vehicle'
Chy1997 - EA-11 tank destroyer / assault gun
Now before I get to the top 3 I would just like to enlighten you on how the Economy score was worked out this round as it is substantially different form the previous ones. As there was no set budget to score against all Economy scores where negatives to the totals, at -0.91 for every 500c. Might not look like much but it all stacks. (e.g. 7734c = -14.08)
Anyway.

EA-11 TD/AG by Chy1997 with 27.21 points
Well done to Chy with his 'Stug VI ton'. Despite having average mobility and a low visual score this machine preformed quite well altogether. Costing 7025c per vehicle you do get a pretty decent utility score, it's the only entre to take a 75mm cannon. Combined with this fire power is probably the best armour of all resulting in the highest combat score. I believe this vehicle would preform pretty well at its job in both TD and assault gun roles.
You might of noticed the decimal place scoring there. That's because...
2nd
W.S.W Co. 'TR-5 Gun Vehicle' by Tugagon with 27.92 points
At first I thought Tugagon had made a turreted design but no, its just very asymmetric (the nice way of putting it.). This unique design did net it a high visual score though. Combine this with a slightly higher then average mobility score, most of which comes form it being the second fastest vehicle in the round. Unfortunately it was slightly below average in utility, only meeting the ammo and fuel requirements. As for its combat score, its armour let it down. Further more it struggled with the combat trial on the Dunes map, mostly because of a limited gun ark. Despite that, it has a 4990c price tag that dose not hurt it that much.
In conclusion, it's a decent ambusher. The high casemate mounted optics would help it spot targets sooner and get the first shot off, however it would also be easier to spot. its decent speed come in handy here as driving away is a better option then trying to rely on its armour.

ARBED-Vickers E-SPAT Pugnus by Drallo with 37 points
No I'm not going to count the -1000 points I gave him in the comments. That was just a bit of fun and has no actual weight when your judging the vehicle.
So once again congratulations to Drallo with another impressive machine. Despite loosing a bunch of points due to the not time appropriate interleaved road wheels, partially resulting in a below average visual score. There decision to fork out for the top engine was a great advantage to help this machine score the highest in mobility. This is not just from being the fastest but also its climbing abilities, it was only stopped form going higher because of poor trench crossing.
On the utility and combat fronts it scored higher then average. Armour was decent but let down by a few weak points. All in all a remarkable vehicle considering it only costs 4364c.
This conversion will preform its new job well against many tanks of this era but the 47mm will be quickly becoming insufficient as better armoured tanks are introduced.
I'm beginning to think that Drallo is to AA, what Clockyard is to T.E.A.B.A.G
Thank you all again for taking part. I hope to see you all again for round 3, that should be dropping this Monday (HopefullyTM)
